Senior Vice President of Operations – Commercial Roofing (Southern California)

Commercial Roofing Sr VP Operations Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $215K–$250K

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize our commercial roofing operations in Southern California. This executive role demands a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the industry, a proven ability to drive operational excellence, and a track record of scaling high-performing teams.

Commercial Roofing Sr VP Operations Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of commercial roofing operations, from pre-construction and estimating to project execution and closeout.

Strategic Growth & Process Optimization: Implement scalable systems, refine workflows, and drive efficiencies across sales, project management, and field operations.

Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead superintendents, project managers, and field teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and safety.

Client & Vendor Relations: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution and long-term partnerships.

Financial & Performance Accountability: Manage P&L, control costs, optimize job profitability, and ensure projects are delivered on time and above expectations.

Safety & Compliance: Champion a best-in-class safety culture, oversee training programs, and ensure full regulatory compliance across all job sites.

Commercial Roofing Sr VP Operations Candidate Qualifications:

Extensive Commercial Roofing Expertise: Deep knowledge of estimating, bidding, and managing large-scale commercial roofing projects (TPO, PVC, BUR, etc.).

Proven Executive Leadership: Demonstrated experience in scaling operations and driving performance in commercial roofing, construction, or a related industry.

Strong Business Acumen: Ability to balance strategic decision-making with hands-on operational leadership.

People-Centric Leadership: A mentor and motivator who can develop high-performing teams and build a culture of accountability and excellence.

Financial & Data-Driven Mindset: Experience managing budgets, optimizing margins, and leveraging data for continuous improvement.

Technology & Process Optimization: Adept at integrating technology to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
