The Restaurant Systems IT Manager must be friendly with a great personality. They will act as a Brand Ambassador for the restaurant group and must be able to connect with the management team. You must have a good understanding of POS and back-office systems. The Restaurant Systems IT Manager must have highly effective communication skills in all activities and have an outgoing personality.
Restaurant Systems IT Manager Job Requirements:
- Maintain all POS and back-office systems in all locations – familiarity with Toast POS & Restaurant Connect BOH system is required (in addition to exposure to applicable business software suites involving Payroll, HR, Security, and Office systems, etc.)
- Hardware auditing experience necessary – an annual replacement, refurbishment, and budgeting schedule will be created by this position
- Work with Senior Leadership to develop the IT department (including quick reference manuals, ticketing system, budgets, etc.) to assist in addressing the needs of the operation
- Conduct rollouts and installs as needed
- Be a positive representative of the brand
- Some nights and weekends as needed
- Personally see to problems needing immediate action to continue seamless business
- Restaurant Management experience
- Travel required between restaurant locations
Restaurant Systems IT Manager Job Qualifications:
- Must possess the ability to lead a fun and engaging environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with the Corporate and Restaurant teams
- Relevant Degree and some restaurant experience are preferred
- Restaurant experience is required for an understanding of the industry
- Must love people and be a part of a team
