CFO Responsibilities:
- Learn and absorb the current financial workflows, especially concerning immigration and labor solutions.
- Help transition the company to full accrual accounting, ensuring better alignment between COGS and cash flow.
- Partner with the leadership team to ensure the company is well-positioned for future growth through optimized financial systems and processes.
- Collaborate closely with the finance operations coordinator and key stakeholders to support day-to-day financial operations.
CFO Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership position such as CFO, VP of Finance, or Director of Finance.
- Experience in high-growth, small-to-medium-sized businesses is preferred, especially within the services or labor solutions industry.
- Experience with financial software systems, including QuickBooks, Salesforce, Clio, and Smartsheets. Familiarity with Fathom and financial reporting tools is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in structuring financials for M&A deals and communicating with investors.
- Strong ability to identify financial challenges and implement strategic solutions.
