Event Sales Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle for corporate and group events, from sourcing leads to securing repeat business.
- Drive lead conversion through proactive inbound and outbound strategies, consistently surpassing sales targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies.
- Enhance brand presence by networking within the corporate events and business communities.
- Craft customized event proposals and conduct site tours, tailoring solutions to meet clients’ unique needs.
- Develop impactful sales messaging and CRM strategies to increase customer engagement.
- Work closely with Business Development to establish strategic partnerships within events, hospitality, and tourism sectors.
- Collaborate with Marketing to fine-tune targeting strategies and drive customer acquisition.
- Partner with local Operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Coordinate with preferred vendors to manage catering, rentals, and staffing for flawless event delivery.
Event Sales Account Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably within hospitality or travel, with a proven history in event sales.
- Proficient in using CRM tools (HubSpot experience is a plus) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Deep knowledge of the local market and established client networks.
- Comfortable with event operations and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a hybrid work environment.
- Positive, proactive attitude, always prioritizing exceptional customer service.
- Creative thinker with a flair for generating new business opportunities and expanding client bases.
