Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales cycle for corporate and group events, from lead generation to repeat business.
  • Drive lead conversion through inbound and outbound strategies to exceed sales targets.
  • Expand and nurture relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies.
  • Increase brand visibility through networking in the corporate events and business communities.
  • Customize event proposals and conduct site tours, understanding client needs to create tailored solutions.
  • Develop sales messaging and CRM strategies to boost engagement.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on strategic partnerships in events, hospitality, and tourism.
  • Work with Marketing to optimize targeting strategies and customer acquisition.
  • Partner with local Operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Coordinate with vendors for catering, rentals, and staffing needs to ensure event success.

Sales Manager Requirements:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in hospitality or travel, with a proven track record in event sales.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot experience preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and client networks.
  • Comfortable with event operations, flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% for industry events, tradeshows, and conferences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a hybrid environment.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on top-tier customer service.
  • Creative in generating new business opportunities and expanding your client base.
