We are seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Plant Manager to lead and optimize our warehouse and manufacturing operations in the US market. As a rapidly growing early-stage consumer product business, we produce both consumable and hard goods at our Houston-based facility, serving gardeners nationwide through e-commerce, independent retailers, and big-box retailers. This role will be pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and high-quality standards across manufacturing, fulfillment, and inventory control. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in scaling consumer brands and managing end-to-end warehouse operations, driving continuous improvement, and supporting our company’s growth strategy.

Plant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the manufacturing team to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work with the Production Manager to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platforms to ensure accurate order dispatch for big-box retailers.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to align operational capabilities with growth goals and sales forecasting.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Support the launch of new products and enhancement of existing ones through collaborative efforts.

Plant Manager Requirements:

  • Proven experience overseeing manufacturing and fulfillment processes in a fast-growing, consumer product business.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Mid-to-expert level proficiency in Excel, with the ability to quickly build models and reports.
  • Technologically proficient and able to learn new systems efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-departmental stakeholder management, particularly with sales and supply chain teams.
  • Passion for working in a collaborative, engaging, and positive environment.
