Director of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Lancaster, CA. This leadership role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in manufacturing and operations management, dedicated to optimizing efficiency, meeting production goals, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Director of Operations Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop plant managers and staff, fostering a safe, motivated, and high-performing team aligned with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, team performance, safety standards, and financial results.
  • Implement strategies for cost minimization and efficiency improvement across all areas of plant operations.
  • Maintain top quality in production, enforcing procedures to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage the daily operations of the manufacturing plant, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments to achieve production, quality, and safety objectives efficiently.

Director of Operations Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility, leading the operations on a daily basis.
  • Well-versed in ISO Standards, Lean Manufacturing, and other operational strategies.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing an MRP or ERP
  • Bachelors degree in a related field, MBA a plus
  • Strong background in Quality Control and EHS
