Responsibilities:

Assist the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations, ensuring excellence in every dish
Develop and refine menus with a strong emphasis on West African flavors, techniques, and ingredients
Uphold the highest standards of culinary execution, creativity, and consistency
Train, mentor, and inspire a high-performing kitchen team
Maintain impeccable food safety and sanitation standards
Work in a collaborative and innovative environment that values artistry and precision

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining setting
Strong background in West African cuisine—deep knowledge of traditional ingredients, dishes, and modern interpretations
Michelin-starred or James Beard-recognized experience preferred
Leadership skills with a passion for training and mentoring culinary teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to excellence
