A historic boutique hotel is seeking a Chef to take full ownership of our intimate dining experience. This role is ideal for a passionate and creative chef who enjoys autonomy in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a seasonal menu tailored to a small, upscale dining room
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation and presentation
- Handle ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health & safety standards
- Deliver a high-quality culinary experience in a historic setting
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chef or even a recent Graduate looking to make a name for themselves!
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Ability to work independently and manage all kitchen operations
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- ServSafe certification (preferred)
Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Location: Chautauqua Institute
