A historic boutique hotel is seeking a Chef to take full ownership of our intimate dining experience. This role is ideal for a passionate and creative chef who enjoys autonomy in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a seasonal menu tailored to a small, upscale dining room
  • Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation and presentation
  • Handle ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health & safety standards
  • Deliver a high-quality culinary experience in a historic setting

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a chef or even a recent Graduate looking to make a name for themselves!
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Ability to work independently and manage all kitchen operations
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • ServSafe certification (preferred)

Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Location: Chautauqua Institute
