Engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle which includes gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements; responding to outages; and creating application system models. Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test and debug programs to meet business needs in the achievement of business and technology initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, test and deploy full stack web and responsive mobile software applications.
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues.
• Design and update the software data layer from within a full stack architecture
• Test and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Work with team members to review new and existing code and conduct root cause analysis of defects
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability.
• Resolve complex technical design issues.
• Development of technical specifications and plans
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding defects
• Compile timely, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and/or reports as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Licensing:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional certifications and/or experience
• Knowledge of insurance claims industry a plus. Technical skills:
• Three or more years of experience using the Angular 12+ web development framework is required.
• Three or more years of experience using Python in any development capacity is required.
• Experience with MongoDB is highly preferred.
• Experience with using AI tools such as Copilot in a dev environment preferred.
• An understanding of distributed web architectures and deployment tools a plus.
• Experience with AWS is a plus, but not required.
• An understanding of software development life cycle methodologies
