MEP Estimator Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years MEP Experience
  • Experienced in either Commercial or Industrial projects
  • Excellent in Trimble/QuickPen or FastPipe (Preferred)
  • Strong process understanding of bidding process
  • Expert in blueprint interpretation
  • Experienced in mechanical plumbing equipment and knowledge of CHRO set aside plans
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time

MEP Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Experienced leader and mentor
  • Review and prepare project budgets, equipment costs, material take-offs for commercial HVAC and plumbing products
  • Strong communication skills with other team members including contractors, vendors, and project owners
  • Coordinate quotes from suppliers/vendors and participate in buyouts
  • Attend bid meetings and site walkthroughs to ensure accurate project understanding and follow through
  • Meet strict bidding deadlines and maintain project compliance with CHRO requirements
