MEP Estimator Qualifications:
- 3+ Years MEP Experience
- Experienced in either Commercial or Industrial projects
- Excellent in Trimble/QuickPen or FastPipe (Preferred)
- Strong process understanding of bidding process
- Expert in blueprint interpretation
- Experienced in mechanical plumbing equipment and knowledge of CHRO set aside plans
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
MEP Estimator Responsibilities:
- Experienced leader and mentor
- Review and prepare project budgets, equipment costs, material take-offs for commercial HVAC and plumbing products
- Strong communication skills with other team members including contractors, vendors, and project owners
- Coordinate quotes from suppliers/vendors and participate in buyouts
- Attend bid meetings and site walkthroughs to ensure accurate project understanding and follow through
- Meet strict bidding deadlines and maintain project compliance with CHRO requirements
