Our client is seeking a highly motivated General Manager to join the opening team of a trendy, upscale-casual, high-volume full-service restaurant with a bar offering outstanding food and beverages. Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all daily restaurant operations
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Recruit, train, and mentor front and back of house staff
- Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service standards
- Oversee scheduling, ordering, inventory management, and cost controls
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, budgets, and profit margins
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high food quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and team members
- Report directly to ownership and provide regular operational updates
Restaurant General Manager Requirements:
- 3+ years of General Manager experience in an upscale-casual restaurant with a full bar (wine, beer, liquor)
- Experience with local or regional restaurant groups preferred
- Ability to work under pressure with ease during high-volume meal periods
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience with financial planning, reporting, and inventory analysis
- Passion for hospitality and dedication to exceptional service
- Local candidates only (no relocations)
