Our client is seeking a highly motivated General Manager to join the opening team of a trendy, upscale-casual, high-volume full-service restaurant with a bar offering outstanding food and beverages. Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all daily restaurant operations
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Recruit, train, and mentor front and back of house staff
Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service standards
Oversee scheduling, ordering, inventory management, and cost controls
Monitor financial performance, including sales, budgets, and profit margins
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high food quality standards
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and team members
Report directly to ownership and provide regular operational updates

Restaurant General Manager Requirements:

3+ years of General Manager experience in an upscale-casual restaurant with a full bar (wine, beer, liquor)
Experience with local or regional restaurant groups preferred
Ability to work under pressure with ease during high-volume meal periods
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Experience with financial planning, reporting, and inventory analysis
Passion for hospitality and dedication to exceptional service
Local candidates only (no relocations)
