University Registrar Key Responsibilities:
- Manage registration, academic records, transfer evaluations, and graduation processes.
- Develop and enforce academic policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations (FERPA, FIPA, GDPR, Title IX).
- Oversee student information systems, data security, and reporting for institutional planning.
- Supervise and develop registrar staff, manage budgets, and lead process improvements.
- Collaborate with university departments to support student recruitment, retention, and academic integrity.
University Registrar Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in a registrar’s office with leadership roles.
- Expertise in student information systems (Campus Nexus preferred) and records management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Commitment to compliance, data integrity, and student success.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
