Controller Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of 2 Accountants and all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and financial reporting.
• Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to aid in leadership decisions
• Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting and provide audit support as necessary
• Report directly to the CFO and work in close collaboration with other leaders in the organization.

Controller Requirements

• CPA certification (highly preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2+ years in a Supervisor role.
• Experience in a non-profit setting is highly desired.
• Proficiency in accounting software along with Microsoft Office and Google Suites
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
