We are seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic! The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trailers, including dry van, reefer, flatbed, etc. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trailers to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Diagnose and repair brake systems, suspension components, electrical wiring, lighting, and air systems.
Weld and fabricate metal components as needed for structural repairs.
Replace or repair tires, landing gear, and other trailer components.
Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and ensure trailer safety.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Follow company safety policies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a trailer mechanic or in a similar role.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic, and braking systems.
Welding and fabrication experience is preferred.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.
Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
