Hospitality Controller Qualifications:

10+ years of experience as a controller or similar role
Large hospitality operational experience
CPA Preferred

Hospitality Controller Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to executives, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Develop and enforce internal financial controls to protect company assets.
Maintain and manage the general ledger and financial records.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to align with business goals.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Tax Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Oversee tax filings, audits, and external reporting.
Work with auditors to maintain financial transparency and compliance.

Process Improvement & Cost Management

Develop and improve financial processes, policies, and internal controls.
Monitor and optimize cash flow management and cost control.
Implement financial technology and automation solutions for efficiency.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
Collaborate with executive leadership to drive financial strategy.
Work closely with department heads to align financial goals with operational needs.
