We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated Human Resources Director to join our team on-site in Washington, DC. As the Human Resources Director, you will play a critical role in managing payroll, HRIS systems, benefits administration, recruitment, compliance, and employee relations. Responsibilities:
- Manage and process bi-weekly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Oversee HRIS systems for data integrity, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.
- Administer health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, as well as 401K and 457B plans
- Lead recruitment efforts: job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- Oversee onboarding processes and ensure a smooth transition for new hires
- Serve as an employee relations expert, handling grievances, coaching, and performance management
- Maintain compliance with EEO, FLSA, OSHA, and other employment laws
- Conduct internal HR audits to ensure best practices and policy adherence
- Ensure strict confidentiality of employee records and HR matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- SPHR certification required
- 5+ years of HR experience, including payroll processing and benefits administration
- 5+ years in Private Clubs or Forbes Four Star Hotel
- Proficiency in ADP and HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
