EHS Manager Essential Duties:

  • Conduct safety audits, report findings, and develop action plans.
  • Complete required air permit and wastewater reports.
  • Maintain EHS records and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with Production and Facility Managers on safety initiatives.
  • Inspect facilities for risks and address preventative safety issues.
  • Develop and implement safety and environmental procedures.
  • Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement improvements.
  • Manage contractor and vendor safety compliance.
  • Conduct training on emergency procedures and workplace safety.
  • Maintain hazardous waste records and complete OSHA-required forms.

EHS Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, or Safety-related field.
  • 5+ years of management experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSP, CHMM, CPR/First Aid Trainer, OSHA 30-Hour, HAZWOPER 24-Hour, or Root Cause Analysis Training.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and confidentiality skills.
