General Manager Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in a General Manager position within a customer-centered environment, with direct profit and loss accountability
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor team members to cultivate a skilled, high-performing group. Approach management with an owner’s mentality, always seeking opportunities to drive growth for both the business and team members.
  • Oversee local marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
  • Lead by example in customer interaction and sales, ensuring a high-quality customer experience that encourages return visits and referrals.
  • Continuously review and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Monitor and interpret key financial indicators and P&L reports to maximize profitability and address any discrepancies.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of management teams, ensuring smooth and effective processes across the business.
  • Promote and enforce safety standards to create a safe environment for both employees and customers. Ensure thorough, ongoing training on safety protocols and emergency procedures for all staff.
  • Resolve complex customer concerns thoughtfully, balancing the interests of customers, employees, and business outcomes. Demonstrate the ability to drive profitability while maintaining safety and exceptional service.
  • Track business metrics, identify performance gaps, and develop targeted strategies to address these areas effectively.
