An established and growing Scrap Recycling Facility is seeking a skilled and experienced Shredder Operator/Supervisor to oversee the operation and maintenance of a 3-Tek Bravo 60” Shredder.
This role involves supervising a crew, ensuring efficient production, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and reporting key metrics to the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shredder Operation:
- Operate and monitor the 3-Tek Bravo 60” Shredder, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Adjust settings and troubleshoot issues to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during operation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience operating a metal shredder, preferably a 3-Tek Bravo 60” Shredder.
- Prior supervisory experience in an industrial or recycling environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lead a team effectively, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety standards.
- Proficiency in tracking and reporting production and maintenance data.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in an industrial setting.
