Highly regarded resort on the Emerald Coast, seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping. As the Director of Housekeeping, you will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are impeccably maintained. You will lead, train, and inspire a team to deliver top-tier cleanliness and service while managing budgets, inventory, and operational efficiencies.
Director of Housekeeping Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage the housekeeping team to ensure high cleanliness standards.
- Uphold housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality control measures.
- Regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Manage department budgets, including labor, supplies, and inventory control.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Director of Housekeeping Requirements:
- 5+ Years of experience in a Director of Housekeeping Role in a large resort property
- Ability to lead a large team 100+ members, J-1 experience appreciated
- In-house laundry experience with over 500 rooms to service
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize labor efficiency.
- Knowledge of housekeeping software and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Director of Housekeeping Compensation:
- Competitive salary of $90K-$100K
