We are looking for a Hotel General Manager for a limited service property responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations. This position is located in Carlsbad, CA

Hotel General Manager Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with brand standards and operating procedures

• Monitor property maintenance to uphold high standards of cleanliness and functionality

• Develop, implement, and monitor budgets to achieve financial goals

• Recruit, train, and mentor department heads and staff to deliver exceptional service

• Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment

• Develop strategies to attract both leisure and business travelers

Hotel General Manager Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

• 5+ years of progressive hotel management experience, preferably with IHG brand properties

• Strong knowledge of financial and revenue management principles

• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills

• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera)
