Sr. Accountant Benefits and Compensation

Sr. Accountant Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–7 years of post-graduate accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading a team of up to five professionals
- Strong proficiency in Power BI / Power Query
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including macros) and MS Office Suite
- Experience with customizing financial reports
- ERP system experience required (Sage 300)
- Background in system implementation and administration is a plus
- Perform in-depth monthly financial analysis, identifying trends and variances in revenue, costs, and profit and loss accounts
- Lead the organization and execution of the annual physical inventory audit
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Assess inventory and capital expenditure balances, providing recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Prepare detailed financial reports to support leadership and business decisions
- Manage and oversee the month-end closing process
- Participate in cross-departmental system implementation projects to drive process improvements and efficiency
