Paralegal II Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in government or social services!
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field (Paralegal certification preferred)!
- Strong knowledge of legal research, case preparation, and documentation!
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws impacting social services!
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills!
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, caseworkers, and leadership teams!
Paralegal II Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting attorneys with legal research, case preparation, and documentation!
- Drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, and reports for Social Services cases!
- Managing case files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements!
- Coordinating with caseworkers and government agencies to facilitate legal processes!
- Reviewing and processing court filings, subpoenas, and administrative records!
- Providing legal guidance and support to Social Services staff!
