Paralegal II Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in government or social services!
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field (Paralegal certification preferred)!
  • Strong knowledge of legal research, case preparation, and documentation!
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws impacting social services!
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills!
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, caseworkers, and leadership teams!

Paralegal II Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting attorneys with legal research, case preparation, and documentation!
  • Drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, and reports for Social Services cases!
  • Managing case files and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements!
  • Coordinating with caseworkers and government agencies to facilitate legal processes!
  • Reviewing and processing court filings, subpoenas, and administrative records!
  • Providing legal guidance and support to Social Services staff!
