Seeking a dynamic Director of Compensation & Benefits to lead and optimize total rewards strategies across a diverse, multi-state workforce, including both union and non-union employees full-time, on-site in NE Ohio. This role requires expertise in compensation planning, benefits administration, compliance with multi-state and federal regulations, and HRIS modernization. The ideal candidate will develop and implement competitive, scalable programs that align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Director of Compensation & Benefits – Benefits/Compensation:

Director of Compensation & Benefits – Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years in compensation, benefits, and total rewards management within a multi-state corporate structure
  • Manage an $8M+ benefits portfolio for a workforce of 5,000+ employees across multiple locations both union and non-union employees
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field
  • Develop and oversee compensation structures, including wage progression, incentive programs, and equity adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state, federal, and union labor regulations
  • Optimize benefits programs, balancing cost-effectiveness with employee value
  • Drive HRIS automation and modernization to enhance efficiency and scalability
