Growing sustainability-focused industrial equipment manufacturing facility in Daytona Beach/Orlando suburb seeks a Director of Operations/Plant Manager to lead all production operations. Ten years in business, 50 employees, growing fast!
Ideal candidates have a mix of production operations, process implementation, inventory/logistics, team management, and high business acumen.

Operations Director/Plant Manager Requirements:
- **2+ years leadership experience, taking a post-start up low volume production facility through a high growth stage to medium volume ISO certified facility**
- 7+ years mid-tier industrial capital goods equipment light assembly mechanical/electrical manufacturing plant management experience
- Strong process/business evaluation to recommend and implement improvements in SOPs, supply chain, quality, and team building
- ISO prequalification/preaudit, certification, recertification expertise
- Proficient in good manufacturing principles, Lean/Six Sigma, Quality Assurance
- Hands on/owner-operator mentality with a motivating personality – team development/culture building is a priority!

Operations Director/Plant Manager Oversight and Responsibilities:
- Create, Evaluate, Improve SOPs to scale a fast-growing business
- Industrial Capital Goods (mechanical/electrical) Manufacturing (Production / Scheduling)
- Materials Management (Procurement, Inventory and Demand Management)
- Logistics / Packaging / Shipping
- Site Finance
- Quality improvement: LEAN, Six Sigma, ISO
- Teambuilding/Talent Development
- IT (Computer systems, Physical Servers, Software Deployment and Maintenance)
- Budgeting process
- Costing (Direct / Labor models)
- Leadtime / Fulfillment Planning
- Collaborate with engineering, senior leadership, HR and other administrative function
- Indirect supervision over service/installation/maintenance/repairs in the field
