We are seeking a Traveling Field Technician "preferably with a valid Class A CDL (manual transmission only)" to join our team. This role involves extensive travel and hands-on technical work in various environmental conditions, with a 90% field operations / 10% driving.
Field Technician Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and transport equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist with rigging up, project work, and other field operations.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and industry safety regulations.
- Maintain and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Load, unload, pull, lift, and carry heavy materials and equipment as needed.
- Enter and exit trenches, confined spaces, and elevated work areas using ladders or ramps.
- Work in various terrain, soil conditions, and extreme weather conditions.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Adapt to changing work schedules and job assignments as directed by project management.
Field Technician Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- (PREFERRED) Valid Class A CDL (manual transmission only) with verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Pass MVR, DOT physical, pre-employment screening, random drug testing, and background checks.
- Successfully complete company safety training.
- Ability to work long hours and travel extensively (8-10 months out of the year).
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental protection, and operational excellence.
