Director of Accounting:

Director of Accounting Responsibilities/Requirements

  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience, including public accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • Continue to learn and be on the forefront of new technology for the hotel industry
  • Proactively liaise with other departments when opportunities present themselves
  • Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Front Services, Front Office, F&B, Golf Course and Executive Offices
  • Experience with SAP accounting software and/or Fourth/Adaco procurement software preferred
  • Assists the Executive Director of Finance in providing financial leadership to the business including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, and internal controls 
  • Reports investigate and resolve violations of internal controls, policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
