Do you enjoy cooking for large parties, corporate groups, and social events? Are you highly organized, efficient in your work, and clear in your communication?
Hotel Banquet Chef Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a Banquet Chef in a hotel setting
- Experience special menus for events and parties
- Experience working directly with sales on special guest needs and requests
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage food and labor costs
- Excellent client-facing persona and presentation
Hotel Banquet Chef Responsibilities:
- Manage the banquet culinary team with consistency and integrity
- Organize BEOs to ensure timely and accurate execution of all events
- Create prep lists and assignments for the banquet team to ensure thorough preparations
- Work alongside the culinary team to prepare and execute events
- Communicate with operations and sales teams on timing and guest expectations
- Create menus and recipes with the Executive Chef
- Work with the sales team on capturing events and creating special menus
