Director of Business Development – Healthcare

We are looking for a Director of Business Development to manage current and potential clients in the Healthcare vertical. The Director will be the primary contact for our healthcare customers, in charge of building long-lasting relationships with healthcare providers and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).

Director of Business Development Requirements

  • Provides direct sales support to the Field Sales team when needed to achieve healthcare sales objectives.
  • Develops annual strategic plans for key accounts, including setting growth goals and targets.
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Service Operations teams to ensure customer requirements are reflected in product offerings.
  • Maintains proactive and continuous communication with healthcare customers to understand their needs, funding trends, and changes in regulatory requirements.
  • Delivers training to the Field Sales team on strategies for positioning, selling, and securing business with healthcare clients.

Director of Business Development Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proficient in utilizing business intelligence (BI) tools to analyze customer trends and identify needs.
  • Highly results-driven, with a focus on setting and achieving ambitious goals, demonstrating dedication to organizational success, and effectively utilizing resources to meet priorities.
  • 5–8 years of proven experience in Account Management, Business Development, Inside Sales, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Strong skills in prioritization and time management, with the ability to operate with a sense of urgency.
