Loan officer should have strong customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in the mortgage industry.
Responsibilities:
– Loan officer should meet with potential borrowers to discuss their financing goals and financial capability
– Analyze and verify loan applications, credit histories, and income documentation
– Evaluate clients' financial circumstances and offer suitable mortgage products and services
– Educate clients on the various types of loans, interest rates and loan terms available
– Loan officer should develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources in order to generate new loan opportunities
