Our celebrated hotel is looking for the next evolution of leadership in a General Manager to inspire our team. We are looking for a servant leader with a high-end, independent hotel experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and accommodation for all guests, front and back of the house. This person will have a healthy admiration for the local culture and its preservation!

Hotel General Manager Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years as General Manager in an independent hotel, 4-diamond plus
  • Progressive career trajectory
  • Experience with managing hotels during a rebranding
  • Positive, caring, and compassionate personality with a proven history of servant leadership
  • Knowledge of AAA and Forbes requirements for grading
  • Strong financial acumen and ability
  • Experience with Spa and Wellness programs required
  • Must permanently live and work in Taos, New Mexico

Hotel General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of managers to meet and exceed high expectations
  • Accountable for all financial results of the property
  • Work directly with the management company on the vision and development of the hotel
  • Work directly with the Sales department to capture and sufficiently price all business
  • Interact with community and community leaders to promote the property
