Wealth Management Tax Advisor, CPA

About the Role

As a Wealth Management Tax Advisor, CPA, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of individual, fiduciary, and business tax returns, collaborating with wealth advisors on tax harvesting strategies, and providing expert guidance to clients on proactive tax planning.

Key Responsibilities for the Wealth Management Tax Advisor:

  • Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, and business income tax returns.
  • Collaborate with wealth advisors to implement tax harvesting strategies and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Advise clients on complex tax issues and provide proactive tax planning solutions.
  • Develop tax projections and research tax implications to guide client decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and wealth advisors.
  • Manage multiple clients, budgets, and deadlines while maintaining exceptional service quality.
  • Mentor and train staff on tax-related matters, fostering growth within the team.

Qualifications and Skills

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification.
  • 6+ years of experience in individual tax returns and tax harvesting, with a preference for working with high-net-worth clients.
  • Prior experience collaborating with wealth advisors.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Salary Range: $140,000–$170,000, DOE.
