We are seeking a highly experienced Maître d' for an upscale restaurant in West Palm Beach. This position will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining reservation processes for the team. Maître d' Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a lead host or hostess in an upscale restaurant
  • Superior hospitality skills, and ability to anticipate guests needs
  • Good understanding of reservation and seating process
  • Experience with Resy is preferred
  • Multi-tasking ability, create and implement new processes
  • Warm Personality, with an ability to lead others

Maître d' Responsibilities

  • Support the front-of-house team with all guest service and operations
  • Monitor floor plan, and manage to maximize covers
  • Create the host team schedule, and update training as needed
  • Manage reservations made through third party websites
  • Nurture relationships to create new business with local concierge, and PR agencies
  • Create and manage reservation systems for front and back of house
  • Manage restaurant emails, while inputting any prix-fixe, and large party information
  • Connect with guests, touch tables, and provide recovery
  • Scheduling and seating assignment management
