Bakery Production Manager Requirements:
- 10+ years of bakery/pastry production experience ( some savory and IQF experience is a plus)
- Experience with scaling operations
- Strong understanding of baking chemistry and production processes
- Experience leading teams of 45+ employees
- Ability to create a positive and efficient work environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Strong supervisory, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and basic computer applications
Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee all bakery operations, including production, packaging, and distribution
- Maintain vendor relationships, purchasing, and cost controls
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of expenses, payroll, and inventory
- Implement and uphold systems for order entry, receiving, and inventory management
- Lead by example, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement
