Civil Engineer – Land Development

Are you a skilled Civil Engineer with a passion for land development? Our client, a dynamic and well-established engineering firm, is looking for a motivated professional to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects while working in a collaborative, family-focused environment.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial site design.
• Prepare and review site plans, grading, drainage, and utility layouts for new developments.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental impact assessments.
• Analyze survey reports, zoning regulations, and land use requirements to ensure project compliance.
• Develop cost estimates for materials, labor, and project timelines while maintaining budgetary constraints.
• Coordinate with local municipalities, permitting agencies, and stakeholders to secure approvals.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software to develop detailed engineering plans.
• Oversee stormwater management, erosion control, and other site sustainability measures.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual planning to construction oversight.

Civil Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and other industry-standard software.
• Strong understanding of grading, stormwater management, and site utility design.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal land development regulations.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
