Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

Design and oversee civil engineering projects, including roads, site development, and water/wastewater systems.
Analyze survey reports, long-range plans, maps, and other data to guide project development.
Consider budget constraints, regulatory compliance, and environmental factors in project planning.
Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor, ensuring budget adherence.
Develop and manage project timelines for design and construction phases.
Submit and track permit applications to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Oversee soil testing, ensuring site feasibility and foundation integrity.
Utilize design software, such as AutoCAD, to create detailed drawings and renderings.
Supervise maintenance and repair of existing infrastructure, including water distribution and wastewater treatment systems.

Civil Engineer Requirements:

EIT candidates will be considered.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum: 4 years of relevant experience, including water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and demonstrated ability to collaborate with planners and developers.
Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of Delaware or ability to obtain your license within 12 months.
