A national Hotel Management Group seeks an experienced Hotel Sales Manager with Marriott and Orlando, FL experience in driving Hotel Sales verticals and occupancy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong tenure at full-service properties. We are looking for a Hotel Ambassador with a strong Sales mindset to establish a high level of rapport with clients. Benefits:
- Salary – $45,000 to $55,000 + Commissions
- Aggressive Commission Program with a combined payout of 1.5% of food, beverage, meeting room revenue and Guest Room blocks of 10 or more Rooms revenue generated

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall success of the SMERF Sales market to maximize total revenue and ensure sales goals are met and exceeded
- Established client base, cultivate relationships, building business, and provide a stable and positive work environment for the team
- Spend a significant amount of time out of the hotel surveying the market and comp set/neighboring hotels, researching new clients/opportunities, and knowing the market and its environment
- Observe local trends in the market
- Conduct sales calls, promote the hotel, and review competition reader boards to develop leads.
- Supporting and Developing other Sales Managers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of Sales Experience
- Any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered or other sales experience
- Past Marriott Hotel Sales Manager experience a plus
- Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs, and resolve complaints
- Ability to move throughout the hotel to conduct site inspections
- Detail oriented.
