Join our Richmond-Based Wealth Management Team as a Tax Manager!

Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take the next step in your career? A well-established wealth management firm in Richmond is seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Tax Director to lead the tax preparation process for our clients, provide strategic planning, oversee the tax team, and help train and develop new talent.

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to delivering outstanding client service. If you have a deep understanding of complex tax laws in the wealth management space and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Tax Manager – Hybrid – Richmond, VA Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the tax team, sharing knowledge and best practices
• Review and oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, and partnerships
• Handle IRS and state correspondence, including notices, audits, and inquiries on behalf of clients
• Stay current with tax law changes, regulations, and trends to ensure compliance and uncover planning opportunities

Tax Manager – Hybrid – Richmond, VA Experience:

• 5+ years of tax preparation, planning, and compliance experience, ideally within a wealth management setting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or EA certification is required
• Strong Expertise in tax management and a passion for process improvement
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver outstanding client service
