Join our team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in advancing our Marine initiatives. We’re searching for someone with expertise in subsea engineering who thrives in both technical problem-solving and team leadership. In this prominent position, you’ll drive the innovation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies that support the deployment, maintenance, and recovery of our modular hydropower systems and their associated components.
Lead Marine Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Mechanical Engineering team
- Drive the development of mechanical and subsea systems
- Coordinate with mechanical vendors
- Prepare and deliver program reports
- Supervise and execute multiple programs
Lead Marine Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Marine and/or UUV experience
- 7+ years of experience with marine or hydrokinetic systems, technology
- Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills
- Experience using CAD Software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar
- Proficient with 3D modeling, and able to produce mechanical engineering drawings
- MatLab, LabView, MathCAD or similar applications
