Chief Inspector Requirements
- Oversee and manage the inspection department to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective inspection procedures and quality assurance programs.
- Review maintenance documentation, aircraft maintenance records, and inspection logs for regulatory compliance and airworthiness.
- Provide technical and regulatory guidance to inspection and maintenance teams, ensuring proper training and certification of personnel.
- Address non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Chief Inspector Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required; FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in aircraft inspection and quality assurance.
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR Parts 145, 121, and 43, and expertise in aircraft maintenance and inspection techniques.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software, with a commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
