Embedded Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with Bluetooth
- Proficiency in PCB design and layout using tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity.
- Experience with microcontroller/microprocessor-based systems (e.g., ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR)
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in embedded systems development (e.g., C, C++, Python).
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB).
- Experience working with products with motion/actuation.
- Strong background in embedded systems design, with particular expertise in firmware development.
Embedded Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design and layout PCBs for embedded systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Conduct schematic capture, PCB layout, and routing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).
- Conduct integration testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and performance of embedded systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members, including engineers and technicians.
