Job Summary: Oversees the daily revenue management of the assigned hotel region. Coordinates with leadership to review hotel financials, stay within budget guidelines, and improve profit/loss of hotels
Revenue Manager Requirements:
- Company associates have access to guestrooms and property. As such, character traits of honesty and trustworthiness are essential to this position and must be displayed at all times. In addition, per company policy, potential associates must pass appropriate security clearances.
- Five years of experience in the hotel industry (Hilton and Marriott preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of revenue management experience preferred.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree required; concentration in accounting or finance preferred
Revenue Manager Expectations:
- Knowledge of revenue management concepts, tactics and processes
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Practical knowledge of Hotel rules, policies, and procedures Skills:
- Functional communication skills, written and verbal, including group presentations.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent deductive and inductive reasoning.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to prioritize tasks appropriately
- Basic computer knowledge. Hilton and Marriott Revenue Management Systems, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook experience preferred. Abilities:
- Sees a vision and is not deterred from achieving it.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with property GM & DOS; Regional Team, fellow RDRMs, corporate staff; Brand Representatives and Support; Key Ownership Contacts.
Revenue Manager Working Expectations:
- Time Allotments: o 10% Meeting /Call Prep and Follow-Up o 10% Reporting – Follow-up o 35% Conference Calls / Meetings o 15% Responding to Property & Corporate Communication & Follow-Up o 12% Analysis (outside of meetings) o 8% Special Projects o 10% Systems Maintenance and Manipulation
- Night and weekend work may be required to meet specific deadlines and commitments
- Periodic overnight travel required
- May be required to work more than 40 hours per week consistently
Revenue Manager Benefits:
- Salary up to 110k
