Systems Engineer – Cyber

Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen with an active SECRET security clearance and the ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
- As part of the platform support team, use tools like Jira Service Manager and vSphere to monitor and ensure the smooth operation of the training platform.
- Follow a structured approach for service design, transition, and operations to make sure IT services meet user requirements.
- Ensure accuracy when entering user information, maintaining a low error rate of less than 5%, and reducing the need for corrections.
- Quickly address IT incidents, identify patterns, and resolve underlying issues.
- Regularly provide detailed reports on request status, resolutions, and overall progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Offer expert technical support for IT, virtual environments, and network systems, solving various technical issues.
- Be proactive and work independently in a fast-moving environment while collaborating with engineers at different levels of experience.
- Effectively manage service requests, ensuring timely resolution and high user satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- clearance with Full Scope or Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in help desk or IT support operations.
