Vibration Analysis Tech II Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 10 years of related experience as a Vibration Analysis Tech
  • Level II Certification
  • In-depth knowledge of Vibration Analysis, PdM, and internal components of equipment
  • Understanding and application of predictive maintenance techniques
  • Expertise in maintaining rotating equipment

Vibration Analysis Tech II Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis to determine equipment vulnerabilities
  • Collect and interpret data for equipment repairs or new projects (diagnostic testing, vibration, ultrasound, and thermal imaging)
  • Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and analyze data from all rotating equipment to maintain continued operations
  • Perform resonance, phase, and cross-channel phase testing
