Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead, train, and evaluate staff; assign tasks; manage attendance and staffing decisions; enforce safety protocols.
- Operations: Oversee metal sorting, processing, and equipment operation to meet production goals.
- Quality Control: Inspect metals, reduce waste, and conduct operational audits.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards, ensure compliance, and address incidents.
- Inventory Management: Track and process inventory accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Supervise equipment upkeep and liaise with maintenance teams.
- Reporting: Maintain records and generate production and safety reports.
- Certifications: OSHA or similar safety certifications; forklift/heavy equipment certifications.
