Area Director of Hotel Sales

New England-based Hospitality group is looking for an Area Director of Sales to oversee 5 locations. This is an on-property role. This role drives group sales revenue, builds client relationships, and ensures sales excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Drive group sales revenue and meet/exceed sales goals for assigned hotels.
• Conduct inside and outside sales calls, prospecting for new business.
• Collaborate with Revenue Managers and Area Sales Coordinators on strategy and daily operations.
• Manage client inquiries, contracts, and corporate rate agreements.
• Ensure accuracy of sales files, group room control logs, and reporting.
• Travel bi-weekly to assigned hotels for strategy discussions and metrics reviews.

Qualifications:

• Education: College degree preferred; relevant experience accepted.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Hotel Director of Sales; 1 year in multi-property sales preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sales software (Delphi/SalesPro) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Must have a vehicle for travel.
