The Hotel Facilities Manager is responsible for all functions of maintenance of hotels from bidding, to completion. The position also manages all budgets, timelines, quality checks, and external/internal professionals especially General Contractors. This role will require great attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency to manage/report budgets and schedules on multiple projects. The top candidate should be able to think outside the box and be a problem solver.

Hotel Facilities Manager Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead bidding process negotiates GC bids and prepares award recommendation to management team 
  • Manage, coordinate and administer all aspects of location's maintenance
  • Develop, monitor and report detailed budgets, schedules, and status on projects
  • Routinely maintain and update internal programs to communicate project milestones and timeline changes to other internal departments
  • Review, negotiate and present change orders to Executive Team including reasoning, quantities, unit rates, timelines
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with general contractors, developers, and other professionals
  • Coordinate and facilitate all collaboration between general contractors, stakeholders, and consultants in order to maintain hotels within scheduled timeframes and budgets
  • Work together with internal stakeholders to capitalize on hotels after opening.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Hotel Facilities Manager Job Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a related field coordinating project completion and facilities maintenance.
  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive experience in residential maintenance management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Lodging industry experience is preferred.
  • Multi-project experience. 

Hotel Facilities Manager Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires overnight domestic travel 10% of the time
  • Anticipated travel will be by car, or air – expenses taken care of

Hotel Facilities Manager Compensation Program:

  • Salary in the $100,000 to $110,000 range depending on experience
  • 20% Bonus available
