Upscale Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Managing the guest experience and exceeding expectations
  • Oversight of front and back of house operations
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop team members
  • Scheduling, inventory, invoicing, and payroll administration
  • Monitoring finances and controlling costs

Upscale Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:

  • Experience in front and back-of-house operations
  • Strong knowledge of food, liquor, wine, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety
  • Understanding of cost and labor systems
  • Superior communication and leadership
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
