We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician to join an incredible team. The Maintenance Technician maintains, repairs, and installs food service (kitchen) related equipment for a multi-building campus. If this sounds up your alley, apply today!

Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair food service and refrigeration systems
  • Install or relocate equipment as needed
  • Calibrate, and repair as needed, controls, thermostats, fuses, and wiring
  • Assemble wiring and connect motors, compressors, and controls according to schematics
  • Maintain a schedule for regular maintenance and cleaning
  • Receive and complete work orders
  • Respond to emergency calls as needed

Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience repairing restaurant/bakery equipment
  • Refrigeration Certification required
  • Trade school degree required, or equivalent combination of training and experience in high volume dining
  • Knowledge of commercial food service equipment, repairs, maintenance, etc
  • Experience with of electrical wiring, schematic, and general plumbing
  • Experience reading blueprints, schematics, etc
  • Valid driver's license
